Bone glue ,the surface is in pearl form, made of cattle ,horse ,sheep  bones, as the name suggests, was in general use among cabinetmakers for more than 1000 years. the Bone was cleaned and ground into pieces, dissolved in the  water, evaporated and dried into a hard jelly. Bone glue is completely safe and environmentally benign. Also it can be used in mortise-and-tenon work, as match industry or to be used with book, stationery as glue additive.
